10 Best Vegan Restaurants in Krakow

Vegan Restaurants in Krakow

During my three day trip to Krakow, I saw a lot of amazing medieval buildings and ancient natural wonders. But I didn’t expect to find such a wealth of high quality vegan restaurants in Krakow! Since Poland isn’t the most touristy country I’ve been to, I had no idea that Krakow has such a forward-thinking attitude when it came to food. I was over the moon to discover that I was actually spoiled for choice with loads of vegan food in Krakow. If you have a strict vegan and/or gluten-free diet, don’t let that stop you from travelling to Poland. There is a great variety of vegan restaurants in Krakow!

I’ve bookmarked this in my Krakow folder – it’s very high on my list and it’s good to know that I’ll be able to eat there! It’s also nice to see lots of them are open in the evenings. I always find it really annoying that SO many vegan/veggie places seem to specialise in lunch and then we’re supposed to just starve in the evenings haha. Really handy post, thanks x

I’m glad this will help you when you finally visit Krakow. Honestly, it’s the most vegan friendly city I’ve ever been to!! Yeah, I know exactly what you mean hahaha. These ones definitely won’t let you starve, in fact, you’ll actually have a choice, which is rare for us!

Krowarzywa looks so tasty, I feel like a good burger and potatoes after seeing your photos. Such a great post as it’s often hard to find out what restaurants are good in different areas, especially with diet restrictions.

This is so helpful! I find it hard sometimes to find good veggie and vegan food while travelling, so it’s very useful to get some recommendations. Never would have thought eastern Europe would be good for vegan stuff either, so I’ve learnt something too!

Yeah I know how hard it can be when travelling to non-vegan friendly places, but Krakow was so so great for this kind of food. Thanks for reading Ellie 🙂

Although I’m not a vegan, it would be great places to visit with my brother. Sometimes it’s tough for him to find places to eat as a vegan and these are great suggestions!
