20 Photos That Will Make You Want to Visit Budapest

Budapest photos

Hungary’s capital, Budapest, is a phenomenal city. It’s a paradise for the senses. There is such a massive variety of art, architecture, attractions, cuisines and nationalities. Not to mention the glorious orange hazy sunsets, buzzing atmosphere, sensational views and the ridiculously hospitable locals.

If you make a weekend trip, you’ll have wish you stayed longer. There is so much to do! I spent just under 5 days in Budapest, and ended up returning home with a longing to live there someday. Make sure you know how to make the most of your time in Budapest before going. Even if you don’t get everything done in one trip, it’s more reason to go back someday.

This isn’t a one size fits all kinda city. It can be luxurious or budget-friendly. It can be relaxing or wild. I loved Budapest so much because of its diversity! I found that it has a bit of everything so it suited whatever mood I was in. There are a few places in this world that steal my heart, and Budapest made it onto that list.

I love this collection! And you were 100% right — they do make me want to visit Budapest. Of course, I was probably already sold once I saw the picture of the Buda Castle. I’d be happy looking out at the water from one of those hot tubs, or taking one of those river cruises. I’m a sucker for fairytale-like architecture, so Budapest has me completely intrigued. Pinned!
